Interview Process

Application for the position:

Once you find a YesUp opening opportunity that you are interested in, please either send your resume to the email address listed on the job description page or click “apply now” at the bottom.

Phone Interview:

A telephone interview is the first step of the hiring process for qualified candidates. This helps up get a first impression of a candidate. The interview will usually take around 10-15 minutes and interviewers will mainly focus on general questions to determine whether you are qualified for a face-to-face interview.

First face-to-face Interview:

The first face-to-face interview is a general interview between the applicant and a Hiring/Department manager. The applicant will be asked questions related to the work experience, job knowledge, and educational background. A professional paper test may be applied. Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 weeks.

Second face-to-face Interview:

In some cases, if several candidates have demonstrated a similar qualification level in the first face-to-face interview, we may invite them again with a senior Manager for a second face-to-face interview to make our final decision.

The Offer:

Generally, the offer will be issued within 2 or 3 weeks from the face-to-face interview. We understand that as an outstanding candidate, you may receive job offers from other organizations. Interview Tips

Tell us who You are

We want to know exactly what kind of person you are, what you like and dislike, and what your strengths and weakness are. Do not be afraid to tell us who you really are; we are not expecting perfect candidates. With that said, it is always better to state your skills and experiences truthfully to match the position.

Tell us who We are

It is good for you to be prepared before the interview. Ensure you’ve done your homework on things such as the company’s main products and services (Clicksor Media Kit). You are also encouraged to do some research on the latest industry news, by which you could conduct a better conversation with the hiring manager.

Keep it simple

We want to keep everything simple. Hence, when we ask you a question, we expect you could be straight forward with your response. We’d like to hear short but to-the-point answers rather than long but unrelated responses.

Senior Online Business Development Executive/Account Manager

POSITION: FULL TIME
DEPARTMENT: GLOBAL SALES & CS DEPARTMENT
SALARY: VERY COMPETITIVE BASE SALARY+ COMMISSION (5%)+BENEFIT
LOCATION: NORTH YORK

Position Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze client's needs, and provide possible solutions;
  • Provide product information and customize best suitable package for clients;
  • Develop new sales; Negotiate sales deals with clients based on the benefits of company and close sales leads;
  • Look for potential clients by reaching out emails/phones as needed;
  • Provide professional customer service; manage and grow the current portfolio; up selling to existing clients;
  • Achieve monthly Minimal Performance Target and Monthly Commission Quota;
  • Verify accounts and update info onto CRM system in time;
  • Other related duties as assigned by Department Management;

Position Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of online advertising Business Development and/or Account Manager experience;
  • Professional knowledge of online advertising and sales skills is a must;
  • A university degree or college diploma in related fields;
  • Strong communication skills: both written and oral;

IT PROGRAMMER (JAVA/PHP/Mobile Application Developer)

POSITION: FULL TIME
DEPARTMENT: IT DEPARTMENT
LOCATION: RICHMOND HILL

Position Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, testing and maintaining code, templates and database modules;
  • Web development using LAMP, PHP, MySQL, MVC;
  • Front end development with CSS, HTML/DHTML, XML, Ajax, Jquery, Javascript and Dreamweaver;
  • Develop/maintain Java server application running on Linux platform.
  • Assisting IT Department working on different projects;
  • Other duties assigned by managers.

Position Qualifications:

  • A university degree or college diploma in related fields;
  • 2-3 years work experiences on java programming or php programming or mobile app developing;
  • Must be comfortable in Linux, Apache, C++, PHP and MySQL;
  • Must be knowledgeable on CSS, HTML/DHTML;
  • Must be passion about implement new technology but with ability to delivery rock solid code;
  • Excellent testing and troubleshooting skills;
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Program would be a great asset;
  • Knowledge of Ajax, XML and JavaScript would be a great asset;
  • Knowledge asic command, shell script programming on Linux platform;
  • Feel comfortable with using open source Java programming tool chain;
  • Eclipse, maven, subversion, Open JDK, open source libraries;
  • Python is a big plus;
  • Responsible, team-oriented, detail-oriented, self-motivated with positive working attitudes;
